Hey, I watched an American news channel this morning (the name of which escapes me at the minute) but they said that Bush is leading by 45% or something like that. Don't ask me, won't effect my country...i'm only worried about my dickhead of a Prime Minister and the way he's running it. you're probably watching Fox. Yeah we should focus on teaching kids to read and write at an early age, but when you're 17, and want the minimum wage to be rasied and you already know how to read and write.. .. yeah.. Bush, when you're asked a questuion, don't cover it with bullsh#t.

Bush, when you're asked a questuion, don't cover it with bullsh#t. When I turned 16 and got my first job, I wasn't worried about how much I was going to get paid. Neither should any other 16 or 17 year old. You probably still live at home with your parents(so you don't have any major bills), unless you decided to help out your parents. Plus, your first job is probably not the job you'll be sticking with the rest of your life. So therefor, your probably still going to go to college(or to a better job) which will lead to getting paid more. Oh yeah, you'll learn more in your later years than you do in your early years. You never stop learning, not even getting a job with higher minimum wage will change that. Anyways, I'm out.

I don't want to be paid like sh#t, jobs here pay pretty poorly, that for my friend to keep up with his car payments and his cell phone bill he has to have two jobs. you're right here, but just a point, my friend started out at a movie theater, and is now manager. True, but with the way gas prices are right now (here they're about 2.00 and with every damn teen owning a cellphone. I think everyone deserves a little extra money in their pockets.

Maybe he didn't have the same oppurtunity I had, but I have a car payment, insurance, and a couple of other bills and I only have one job. If your friend has to get two jobs just for a car payment and a cell phone maybe he should of shopped around for a cheaper car. Don't blame it on minimum wage. And they probably raised his pay right? Seeing how when you move up a position you get a little more pay. But I have a warning for you, if they raise mininum wage it won't effect him or me and it won't make our pay better. They raised it here a little over the past year and I got people starting out almost making as much as me who have never had a job and I've had this job for 3 years. Because every teen wants to own a cell phone jobs should have to pay them more? Just don't get a cell phone if you can't afford it. What next? People can't afford 5 televisions in there house, so there job should give them more money so they can. You only need a couple(or maybe you should stop having children), and should only get more if you can afford it.

Don't blame it on minimum wage. my friend is 17 and he totaled his first car in a car crash and has to pay that off, as well as pay for his new car. I already told you he needed two jobs becasue the jobs here pay like sh#t. with the way things are these days. with George W. Bush losing 800,000 jobs due to his sh#tty presidency. I'm not sure the exact number, but no president has lost ANY jobs in 72 years, let alone 800,000. And if those people who can't go to college becasue of the rising costs, need two extra dollars an hour to pay for the bills they can't then I think we need to give it to them. Becasue prices are rising everywhere now a days, and people need enough money to pay for it.
