If you have just joined the EWA then READ THESE or you WILL lose every match you have.
In the EWA, you get to create an imaginary wrestler and manage his/her career. You tell us everything about this wrestler and we log it in the "Wrestler Profiles" section of this game, then you have him compete against the imaginary wrestlers created by other players! Although we use a computer to determine half of who wins and loses, you are not playing against a computer--you are actually competing against other people!
In case you are wondering this is not your average fed. You MUST be an active Trash Talker(2 Times a cycle - Minimum), they do not have to be long, JUST ORIGINAL, Funny, scary, whatever. The QUALITY of your Trash Talks or Roleplays, will be worth a great deal of your match outcome. A small factor in the winner will be your strategy points which can range anywhere from 250 points to 600 points, give or take a little. You will send in a number of moves on the "Current Strategy Sheet" and you will get "damage" points which will help you win your match. So we will take your number of points for your strategy (The moves you pick), and add that to the number of points we give you for you QUALITY of Trash Talks (Roleplays), which is out of 500 points. Then we pit you against your opponent, and whoever has the most points... You guessed it... WINS!
This page is designed to acquaint you with the aspects of the EWA. If you have a question about the EWA, scan this page and it might help. And congratulations on joining the EWA. You won't be disappointed!
Damage Values
When you fill out your EWA strategy sheet in the "Current Strategy Sheet" section, you have to choose ten "Wear 'Em Downer" holds and five "Take 'Em Outter" holds from a list of 60 found in the "Moves/Current Values" section. Each cycle (Normally every Sunday) the EWA gives each hold a damage value which determines how effective it will be during that cycle.
For the 39 "Wear 'Em Downer" holds the damage values range from 20 to 40. For the "Take 'Em Outter" holds the damage values range from 55 to 70. It is very unlikely a hold will ever have the same damage value two cycles in a row.
*There is no formula for determining the hold values because if someone figured it out, he would win every time! (No sh#t?!)
We do, also, (once in a great while) have DQs or double count outs but this basically is done in case of ties so it doesn't sound so dumb, I mean, how often does a wrestling match end in a draw now a days?
Trash Talking
For you who are used to your TYPICAL e-fed, you would call this roleplaying. But we can't be simple, so we call it Trash Talking. This will compromise for a large amount of how you do in your match. Basically, it is like school, only better. You do your Trash Talks for the week, and we grade you out of 500 points. Then we add that number to the total number of points you had when you picked your moves. Simple Enough?
How Matches Are Won
In case you haven't figured it out yet, GOD HELP YOU! All we do to decide the winner is add the damage value from your strats you send in, to the mark we give you out of 500 for your Trash Talks. MY GOD, IT'S EASY! Nothing to it... I would hope.
