Hey, it's time to be Happy, or just get ready for these wrestlers who feel happy. I'll think of a better title in about 5 years. LOL.
Happy Birthday to Ivory, today she is 43. WOW, 43! I didn't think she was that old but she's a good wrestler. Former Women's champion, and currently the co-host of The WWE Experience, which I'm never up for. But I'd like to see her in the ring and become Women's champion again.
Happy Birthday to Maven, today he is 28. Wow, he's only been in the business for about 3 years and all of us have watched his every move. My high school history teacher actually knows him cause they went to college together. But in my opinion, Maven had his best match ever on Raw against Triple H almost two weeks ago, he should be considered for a title shot in the future.
Happy Anniversary to Vince McMahon. On this day 17 years ago the Survivor Series was born. I can't believe it's been 17 years since the first one, but I loved the old tag team elimination matches, 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 they were fun. If you go on eBay, buy the first four Survivor Series because they are all tag team elimination matches, instead of just two of them now like we have today.
Happy Anniversary to Ric Flair. Also on this day 17 years ago you defeated Ronnie Garvin inside a steel cage to become NWA World Heavyweight champion at Starrcade 87. Part of this match is on the best steel cage matches ever DVD and if you go to it, there is an easter egg where it shows how Flair lost the title to Garvin. It seems like November is Flair's month, and who can blame him.
Happy Anniversary to Kevin Nash. On this day 10 years ago you defeated Bob Backlund in under 10 seconds to become the WWE champion. He had the belt for almost an entire year and I thought at the time that he was a good champion. I was at Survivor Series 1995 when he lost the title to Bret Hart, an awesome match to say the least.
Happy Anniversary to Randy Savage. On this day 9 years ago you won the first ever World War 3 match. A three ring, 60 man battle royal and he became WCW champion that night. Of course the next month he'd lose the title to Ric Flair at Starrcade. But interesting note, Savage had lost a match earlier that night to Lex Luger, but he becomes champion at the end. Weird.
Happy Anniversary to Scott Steiner. On this day 4 years ago you defeated Booker T become WCW champion. You know, he really had the last great title reign in WCW, even after they were bought by WWE, but his career has gone downhill since he lost the title to Booker T. He was in WWE for a little over a year, had a crappy feud with Triple H and went nowhere after that, I wonder where he's going to get steroids now?
Happy Trails to Zero-One. The so called hottest promotion in Japan closed it's doors after there last show which took place yesterday. Founder Shinya Hashimoto closed the doors on the business due too health problems. If you look on one of the internet news websites they will give you more info into that.
Well that's it, hope you have a good weekend and we'll do it again on Monday.
